I ventured out to Lake Ontario during the recent Polar Vortex and was delighted to see this scene of a frigid lighthouse surrounded by snow and ice. The lake steams up behind it, adding to the ethereal winter scene. It was worth putting on all those warm layers and getting out there. It was even worth frolicking through a bit of snow.
